Duration Options

When you rent Energy on TRON, you choose how long the delegation lasts. During that period, the Energy is available in your account and replenishes automatically after each use. Once the duration expires, the Energy is revoked.

Available Durations

DurationBest For
1 hourA single USDT transfer or one-off transaction
3 hoursA few transactions spaced out over a short window
1 dayDaily transaction needs
2-6 daysShort-term projects or moderate activity
7 daysRegular weekly usage
14 daysActive wallets with frequent transfers
30 daysHigh-volume wallets, businesses, or automated systems

TronAgg supports 1h, 3h, and every day from 1d to 30d — so you can pick exactly the window you need.

Short vs. Long: The Trade-offs

Shorter Durations (1h, 3h)

  • Lower total cost — You only pay for the time you need.
  • Higher price per day — The per-unit SUN price is usually higher for short rentals.
  • Ideal for — One-off transfers, occasional usage, or testing.

Longer Durations (1d - 30d)

  • Bulk discount — Providers offer lower per-unit SUN prices for longer commitments.
  • Higher total cost — Even with the discount, you are paying for more days.
  • Ideal for — Frequent transactions, businesses, or wallets that send USDT daily.
Think of it like a phone plan

A prepaid daily rate is more expensive per day, but you only pay when you use it. A monthly plan is cheaper per day, but you pay for the full month whether you use it or not.

Choosing the Right Duration

Ask yourself these questions:

  1. How many transactions do I need to make? If it is just one USDT transfer, 1 hour is enough. The Energy replenishes within your rental window, so one hour gives you time for multiple transactions if needed.

  2. How often do I send USDT? If you make transfers every day, a 7-day or 30-day rental saves money compared to renting hourly each time.

  3. Is the timing flexible? If you can batch your transfers into one session, a short duration works well. If they are spread across days, go longer.

Once delegated, your Energy refills after each use (it takes a few minutes). A 1-hour rental gives you enough time for several transactions, not just one.

How Duration Affects Price

Duration selector on the TronAgg search form

On TronAgg, when you search for Energy, you select both the amount and the duration. The search results show the total cost for that specific combination. This makes comparison easy — you see exactly what you will pay, no hidden math required.

Providers set their own pricing tiers, so the cheapest provider for a 1-hour rental might not be the cheapest for a 30-day rental. Always compare prices for your specific duration on TronAgg.
