FAQ
Quick answers to the questions that come up most. For depth, follow the links into Core Concepts and How TRONAgg Works.
The basics
What are Energy and Bandwidth?
They're the two resources TRON uses to run transactions. Bandwidth covers basic transfers; Energy powers smart-contract execution — including every USDT (TRC20) transfer. See Energy & Bandwidth.
Why does sending USDT need energy?
A USDT transfer is a smart-contract call, and contract execution consumes Energy — roughly 65,000 per standard transfer. If your wallet doesn't hold enough, the network burns your TRX to cover it, which is why an unprepared transfer can cost a few dollars.
Renting vs burning — what's the difference?
Burning TRX is automatic but expensive (~6.50 TRX for a transfer). Renting energy through TRONAgg costs about 2.21 TRX for the same transfer, with no lockup. See Renting vs Burning vs Staking.
Using TRONAgg
How does TRONAgg find the best price?
It continuously polls 13+ providers and its own pool, normalises every quote to the same basis, and routes your order to the cheapest source that can actually fill it — weighted by TrustScore. See Matching & Routing.
How long does delivery take?
Typically under 30 seconds. Energy is delegated on-chain to the address you specify, and completed orders link to the transaction on Tronscan.
What if an order can't be filled?
It's refunded automatically, including any reseller markup. You're never charged for energy you didn't receive. See Order Lifecycle.
Is TRONAgg custodial? Do you hold my keys?
No. TRONAgg never needs or stores your private keys or seed phrase. The only value you place with us is the balance you top up to pay for orders. See Security Model.
Common mistakes & troubleshooting
I sent USDT and it still cost a lot of TRX.
The transfer ran without enough energy, so the network burned TRX. Buy energy first (or use the Energy-Free Node, which does it automatically), then send.
I bought energy but my transfer still failed.
Confirm the energy was delegated to the exact address you're sending from — energy is delegated to the target address you specify. Check your order's status and receiver address; completed orders show the on-chain transaction.
How much energy should I buy?
65,000 Energy covers one standard USDT transfer. A first-time recipient (who has never held the token) can need about 135,000. When unsure, the cost calculators estimate it for you.
