Other Wallets & Apps

Any TRON wallet or app that lets you set a custom full node URL works with the Energy-Free Node. If your wallet isn't TronLink or Trust Wallet, this guide is for you.

You'll need: Your Energy-Free Node URL from the TRONAgg dashboard. If you haven't set one up yet, see Getting Started.

The three-step process

1. Find the node settings

Look in your wallet's settings for any of these:

  • Network Settings or Node Settings
  • Custom RPC or Custom Node
  • Advanced Settings > Node Management
  • Chain Configuration > TRON

2. Set the URL

Replace the default TRON full node URL with your Energy-Free Node URL:

https://node.tronagg.ai/YOUR_SECRET_KEY
warning

Only change the Full Node URL. If your wallet shows separate fields for Solidity node or Event server, leave those at their defaults.

3. Verify

After saving, check that:

  • Your TRX balance loads correctly
  • TRC20 token balances (USDT, USDC, etc.) appear
  • Transaction history is visible

If everything loads, you're connected.

Where to find settings in common wallets

WalletPath to node settings
TronLinkSettings > Node Management (detailed guide)
Trust WalletSettings > Preferences > TRON (detailed guide)
TokenPocketMe > Settings > Node Settings
imTokenProfile > Settings > Ethereum & TRON Nodes
KleverSettings > Network > TRON > Custom Node
SafePalSettings > Network > TRON > Custom Node
Hardware wallets

Ledger and Trezor don't support custom node URLs directly. But you can connect them to a software wallet (like TronLink) for signing while routing transactions through the Energy-Free Node. Your hardware wallet handles the signing, TronLink handles the node connection.

Tips

  • Test with a small transfer first. After setup, send a small USDT amount to confirm energy is being delegated before making large transfers.
  • Only change the Full Node URL. Leave Solidity and Event server at defaults unless the dashboard tells you otherwise.
  • Check the dashboard. Your activity log shows every transaction — whether energy was purchased, how much it cost, and the transaction hash.

My wallet doesn't have a custom node option

If your wallet doesn't support custom nodes:

  1. Update it — Newer versions may have added the feature
  2. Check documentation — Some wallets hide it under advanced or developer settings
  3. Switch to TronLink — It's the most feature-complete TRON wallet, available as a browser extension and mobile app
  4. Use the API directly — If you're building your own app, see the App Integration guide
